ㆍSAVE : Save the filter value. Press the SAVE button, select the filter with the SELECT  button,
                and save it again with the SAVE button.

Software Support

Flat Assistant supports Windows apps and ASCOM platforms.

USB DRIVER

Install the CH340 USB driver when the COM port is not recognized by the Device Manager after USB connection.

WINDOWS APP

  • Please select the COM port and connect it.

  • You can adjust the LED brightness immediately on the slide.

  • Select a filter and press the SAVE button to save it.

  • Save values for each filter and save as SAVE Profile

  • Imports a profile saved as a profile.

  • Delete a profile as a profile elimination.

  • Initialize all filter values with the Reset button.​.

There is no installation process after downloading the APP. Simply unzip the ZIP file and run "FlatAssist for Win.exe".

  • Saving a profile creates a profile.json and brightness_level.txt in the folder.

  • If you delete both files, the profile will be initialized.

  • After extruding the ZIP file, run the FlatAssist Install.bat file in the folder with administrator privileges to install the Driver.

  • When the driver's seat installation is complete, the ASCOM.FlatAssist under the cover calibrator in the ASCOM Profile Explorer.The cover calibrator is registered.

  • When you delete the driver, run the FlatAssistUNinstall.bat file with administrator privileges.

  • Please read the Flatassist_ReadMe.html file in the unextruded folder.
